2010 first half of year sales are reflecting a banking system that is enabling more jumbo loans and lending over $1MM, since single family and townhouse averages have increased. Many properties are beginning to see multiple offers within the first week of being on the market. Also, 348 McLean properties sold in 2010 versus 299 during the first half of 2009. This activity suggests that the McLean market has begun to turn around.
